‘재재(在在)’는 그 자리에 ‘있다’는 말이다. 잠시가 아니라, 오래도록. 소란이 아니라, 고요로서.
공간은 비워질 때 완성되지 않는다. 그 자리에 머무는 사람, 스며드는 시간, 그 모든 것이 모여 비로소 ‘있게’ 된다.
우리는 화려하지 않은 건축을, 그러나 사라지지 않는 건축을 생각한다.
